Weather Question for Early Spring Sailing

I'm considering booking a cruise with RCI for the early Spring next year. It will visit Jamaica/Cozumel/Costa Maya.

There's a Feb 28th and Mar 28th sailing available. The Feb 28th sailing is about $200 cheaper so obviously we'd love the savings. We've been on similar cruises before. We went in January one year and it was a little chilly, our beach excursion was almost useless as the water was very cold. We've also went in mid-April and been burnt to a crisp. I understand the caribbean is "nice" all year round and weather is highly variable I'm just trying to get a feel for the cost/benefit.

Is it noticeably hotter in Late Mar/Early April vs Late Feb/Early March? Enough that $200 is warranted for the priviledge? I know the question is probably highly variable, but we don't want regrets of course!

Personally I think the end of Feb. would be great cruising weather. Have cruised in Jan. and the weather was fine for us. One question to consider on the end of March is if it falls during spring break.
Don't know where you live but here in Utah the weather is still damn cold the end of Feb. and love to get away to warmer weather whenever possible (plus love to call home and hear that is is snowing while I am on the beach in the Caribbean).
The weather is always warm in the Caribbean about the only thing that changes is the humidity (alot less during winter months) the water temps weren't bad in Jan for us and a month won't matter that much.

The ports that you mention will be quite nice at the end of feb.
