I just have to have a chance to really spend some time on this ship and get to know it, and so i have booked the first 4-day revenue cruise on December 1st, 2009.
The prices for balcony guarantees are not too bad. I will be bringing all of you a virtual cruise report. I am excited and so is my wife.
By any chance - is anyone joining me?

If you wait about 9 months the prices get below $1000, but that is why I opted for this 4-day. It is one of the first revenue cruises and it is under $1000 for a balcony. I really think I need to have a chance to really see the ship, not just a two-day fam cruise.

I'm doing the "official" Inaugural Cruise on 12/05/09 but in my mind, you really are. I have never done an Inaugural and wanted to have the experience at least once in my lifetime.
I/everyone else on CruiseMates can't wait to hear what you have to say about your travels. Please Please Please try and give us a daily play by play so we can be there with you in spirit! I know I'll be watching and waiting for it. Have a fantastic journey!
My wife and I are doing both the 'official' and the 'real' first cruises. We wanted to be on the innaugural and then RCCL pulled the switcheroo so we decided to do both. Can't wait. And I hope that go with that aerostat ride, I'll be the first in line.
Go out there and have a super cruise. I will be waiting for your report on the Oasis.

Will do. I can't wait to see her. We're actually meeting two couples that we met on other cruises so it will be doubly nice to see them again. I'm starting to get impatient.
Ahh well, being an RN in the operating room doesn't allow me to do "both" inaugurals, so I'll settle for the "second cruise but not the official "official" real inaugural"? Is this right? I'm confused anymore. Ahhh, let's just meet up and have a martini on the 12/05 sail date! (can I dring one of them on the zip-line?)

Paul, glad to be back on cruisemates. Haven't communicated for a couple years. Wife and I have scheduled a Royal Caribbean cruise to the mexican riviera for Feb 2010. A long way off I know, but would appreciate any infor you can give me regarding this ship.. I've been on 6 other cruise, 3 with Holland America, 2 with Royal and 1 with Norwegian and now again with Royal Radiance of the Seas. I trust your judgement from the past. This cruise leaves from San Diego on Feb 12, 2010.
My wife and I were going on the inaugual cruise on 12/12, but they moved it up, but we decided to stay on the 12 and we got a better room. Not the inaugural, but one of the first. Looking forward to it.

If they're planning it well, I'd like to think the zip line would swing by one of the bars outside. You could order ahead and pick up your cocktail and maybe a little sandwich on the way by. Now that's efficiency.
