service in Chops Mariner

Many years ago we ate in Chops. What I remember most was the fantastic service. I think we had two or three servers per table and it was truly a dinning experience. Steaks were so tender. So is it still the same? Worth making reservations. I want my daughters to experience this fine dinning service. Will be on the Mariner May 2010

Chops is the only place on RCL ships we have found consistant recently. The service has been second to none. The steaks are outstanding. Your daughters should really enjoy themselves.

The service will continue to be outstanding. We had two servers take care of our table of six. they made sure we had everything we needed. You won't be disappointed.

We have always had great service too. You are in luck, the Mariner has both Chops and Portifino's so if possible you should try both specialty restaurants, you won't be dissapointed. The only thing I didn't like about chops was when they show you the raw cuts of meats , it really grossed me out (I don't cook my husband does and raw chicken and blood dripping off of raw beef almost made me puke) The meal was wonderful and we can't wait to be back on the Mariner again the end of January 2010

Chops was very good in April, and Portofino was sublime. One of these days I'm going to dine in the specialty restaurants every night. And come back 10 pounds heavier!

Had excellent service there as well, never needed anything, they think of it all. Well worth the extra to have dinner there at least once during a week cruise.

I've done it once and was very impressed with not only the food, but the service as well. We kept going back night after night, reservations permitting.
I'm going on the Mariner again in October and can't wait to visit them again.
