Default liberty of the seas

Would like some reviews from cruisers who have been on this ship- is it geared more toward kids, or is there enough areas for adults looking for relaxation during the day and entertainment at night? Was on the Freedom, and there was never any room in the pub at night. Thank you!

Check the readers review section of this site as Cruisequeen and myself have posted recent reviews. As for the second part of your question, there will be more than enough things for adults to do, from relaxing to partying till late in the evening. Wife and I are in mid 30s and we went without kids and found there to be plenty to do for us. The cruise was not geared toward children as is Disney but there was plenty for them as well. Relaxing during the day and casino/shows/dancing till 3am was what we did all week long.

The cruise experience on Liberty is pretty much the same as Freedom.

If you enjoyed the Freedom you will enjoy the Liberty.

Never did go to the Pub however when I would pass by I did notice it was always busy. I think I will visit the Pub next time because cruisers seem to be having a great time there.

What time of year are you cruising? I did two summer cruises on Liberty and one Fall cruise. Of course the Fall there were alot less kids and large groups of families. However even on the summer cruises there is always spots and corners around the pool deck to relax and get some "me time" away from everyone.

You can be as busy as you want to be on the Liberty or really do nothing all week.

Bolero's also has the same problem of not having any seats left once the music has started. I now get there 20 minutes before the music starts to grab a seat.

I'm hoping Bolero's and the Pub and other popular spots will be bigger on Oasis.

Having sailed on Liberty but not Freedom, I can onle assume they would be quite similar. But if you like hanging out at the pub, why not try the Schooner Bar? Nice atmosphere, and sing-alongs, too. There are certainly places to get quiet time during the day, like the library.

I will be cruising on the Liberty of the Seas November 8th. This is 5th cruise, the last being 15 years ago. My husband admitted after our 5th cruise that he always hated cruising. I have traveled all over the states by myself. My children is giving me this cruise for my 70 birthday. It is like a dream come true. They gave me a cabin by myself, but I will be traveling with a group. I am excited about being on a new ship and will savor each moment.
