Default Mr. Sanchez Beach Club in Cozumel

Aside from a couple of replies saying they've been there, can anyone give me more specific information about Mr. Sanchez Beach Club as to how far it is from the dock, cost of taxie ride, a sandy beach , if it's further than Play Mia Beach Resort. What the admission may be, if lounge chairs, umbrellas and other ameneties are available. Last but not least how highly recommended it is taking our own tour/transportation.
Thanks to all that reply !

We visited Mr. Sanchez this year. It was approximately 15 min taxi ride from the port - standard rates are posted at the port. Not positive but believe around $14 to get there.

We arrived early (about 9:30a) and they were just setting up for the day. We enjoyed the free beach chairs and when the waiter came over and took our drink order, he saved us a table right by our chairs for when we decided to eat.

There was a pool at the facility, as well as clean restrooms.

We spent the day there (spending several hours), food (nacho's & quesdillia's), drinks (both alcohol and non-alcoholic tall beverages and tip cost the 4 of us about $90.

Taxi's were waiting to return passengers whenever they wanted.

Am not sure how far from the other resort but we would stop at Mr. Sanchez's again...

Have fun and safe sailing.

Chefkel22,
Do you have to book upfront or just grab a taxi at the pier and tell them Mr Sanchos and show up without reservation?

Portslug-

Yup, we exited the ship and there was a taxi stand right there. They have big sings with the going rates to all the spots.

Just tell them Mr. Sanchez and enjoy! The drinks were cold, sun nice and bright and food was good.

Was a great spot - hubby would go back again in a heart beat

I go to Mr. Sanchos every time we go to Cozumel. We usually just hop in a acab and go, enjoy the beach, have lunch a few drinks.

Next time we go I am going to try this out.
