best cruise prices ?

Where do most cruisers get the best price if you have a particular cruise ship and date in mind- is it better to go with a travel agent or find something online? Would appreciate any ideas.

Best bet is to use a good cruise t/a. You can check out one that Cruisemates uses for group cruises, she's very knowledgeable and helpful. There are certain cruises that some travel agents will have group space booked and you can take advantage of those prices as well, does save you a few dollars.

What cruise are you looking at and when?

Looking at Oasis of the seas for Feb. 6, 2010- prices seem pretty high, but its also prime time, I guess- we cruise with RCI every year at that time- we like that week, but would really like to go on Oasis. Thanks!

I'm finding the same problem with Oasis. Been told to wait until the fall and the prices are better, but I don't want to cruise in the fall :-)

I allways go with my TA, and she works very hard to get us the best possible price.
