Default How good are the vegetarian options?

I'm cruising on the Mariner in October and I'm wondering how good the vegetarian options are. Any vegetarians care to rate the cuisine?

I'm not a vegetarian; however I eat very little meat. There are at least two vegetarian entrees on the dinner menu; at the windjammer there is plenty of vegaterian food. U should have no problem with food choices.

Glad to hear it. I already knew there would be a reasonable selection, though. What I was wondering was how GOOD is the vegetarian fare? Do you have an opinion on that? Thanks.

I personally liked all the food on the ship. I had pastas, chinese, grilled veggies, and if u eat seafood, they have plenty of that. The wait staff in the dining rooms will fix u just about anything you want. If u don't see anything u like on the menu just ask. At the windjammer its all buffet, so you can walk around and find what u like.

My son had the Vegetarian Quesadilla one nite and he liked it. There was not a crumb left on his plate so it must have been good. 8)

I can't personally answer your question, ManOnMars, but I can tell you that our niece who is a vegetarians has thoroughly enjoyed the food in the dining room, the Windjammer and Portofino's on each of our three cruises.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to my cruise, and the veggie cuisine! Now... is it October yet?

i had the calzone on my cruise and it was pretty good. first time i saw that on the menu.

also.. my waiter overheard that i was a veg and saw i was having trouble deciding what i wanted for dinner, so she told me she could have the kitchen leave off the sausage from the pasta dish.. it was delicious. don't be afraid to ask your waiter.. they are more than willing to help -well most of them are.
