Default Splendour of the Seas

Was hoping to take this cruise a while ago but things got put on hold.

1. Does anyone know which itinerary is better.

2. Please comment on ship. I am so worried about the age but the days and time work better than other cruises.

3. I do not know whether to give up Athens for Turkey.

7 night Greek Isle Cruise (Splendour of the Seas)

Split, Croatia

Pireaus, Athens

or the

7 night Greek Isle and Turkey (Splendor of the Seas)

Kusadasi, Ephesus, Turkey

Thank you very much for your help and I am sure I will have many more questions.

We are going on S.O.S. at the end of the month. We chose the itinerary that includes Turkey.

1.We don't know which is better but really hope it's the one we chose.

2.Don't worry about the age, you're only as old as you feel.

3. I don't know if you should give up Athens or Turkey either. Only you can decide.

The original poster is worried about the age of the SHIP, not their own personal age...

Both itineraries are great. You can't go wrong with either.

As for Splendour she is an older gal but had her series of makeovers through the years.

we just went on splendour and loved the ship. we went on rhapsody a few years ago and were disappointed with the ship, so we were cautious about splendour, but it was a great ship.

we went the athens route, because well.. we wanted to go to athens. it just depends on where you want to go.

Sailed on Splendour in 07, we took the second itinerary to dubrovnik, kudiashi, santorini, cofu; it was a great trip; the ship was just thru a complete overhaul; and the staff were great; one of the best cruises I have been on.
