Default all the way from the Netherlands to take a cruise

Hello we're a 4 friends from the Netherlands. On october 30 we're leaving from Port Carnaval for a short cruise to the Bahamas with the Monarch of the Seas. Because it's Halloween and in the Netherlands Halloween is not so populair we don't know to expect on the cruise.
Do we have to bring costums? We read something about a customs contest, a special Halloween dance evening, etc. But is it really special with Halloween and does the Monarch also do something with Halloween.

Because it is not populair in the Netherlands we really don't if halloween is also something to do on a cruise.

Hope to hear from someone and sorry for my bat english

Tammy

You are not required to bring costumes or participate in any Halloween activities. They will decorate the ship for Halloween and probably schedule Halloween activites, but there will still be non-Halloween activites onboard and no requirement to wear a costume. However, you can bring a costume and join in the fun if you decide to, that is the best thing about cruising, you have the choice!

Welcome to Cruisemates....We have sailed twice on Haolloween cruises, they are fun....you can bring costumes, and, join in the fun too! On one cruise they helped guests, with costumes, but, it is best to bring your own....Expect to have a ball....will you be staying in Florida before or after your crusie to extend your vacation?

Hello Trip,
We are staying in Florida after the cruise.
And we decided to bring our customs with us on holiday. I don't know yet if a'm going to wear it, but it's better to have the custom with me then to regret I left it at home.
But we're going to have fun.
Thanks for your message.
