Default Tea & Coffee in cabins?

Hi all,

I know that the "newer" ships now have tea & coffee facilities in all the cabins but have Royal Caribbean done this for all their fleet?

We are on the Vision in a few weeks and were wondering if this ship has this facility.

It's nice to get up in the morning, make a cup of tea and sit on the balcony!

Thanks in advance,

Pringle8

Default Coffee - Tea Service in Cabin

We've not been on a Vision class ship, but unless you are in a suite, you will probably have to order from room service. Not even sure if suite guests have in-suite coffee/tea service (but will find out in less than two weeks - Grand Suite on the Jewel!).

By the way, we've been on the "newer" ships many times in the last few years, and have never had coffee/tea service in the cabin. Due to fire hazards, coffee makers in cabins are a no-no.

Hi Pootersdad, thanks for the reply.

The Independance does have kettles in their cabins, I've seen them.

All P&O ships also have kettles, tea & coffee and biscuits replenished daily.

Thanks

I've never seen this either. Was on Freedom of the Seas, they also didn't have kettles in cabins. Its just so easy to run up to the Windjammer and get coffee, plus there is always room service, no need to make it yourself :-)

We were in a grand suite a couple weeks ago on the Adventure and there was a coffee maker in the room.

I was right up the stairs from the Cafe Promenade which has really good coffee( much better than MDR). It was much easier to run down the stairs and grab some coffee.

No coffee maker of any type in my promenade view room. If there was I wouldn't use it anyway between room service or just taking a walk to get a cup of coffee.

I loved the room service. They called to let us know they were on their way and it was wonderful sitting on the balcony in the mornings. But we did order double the amount. We liked more coffee than what they would have brought up for 2 people. And since I like french vanilla cream and the ship had none, I bought the seperate creamers and they worked wonderfully. They don't take up much room and I had my coffee just the way I like it. ( We were on the Liberty last March)

Just off the Mariner (Jr. Suite) and had a coffee maker (with Seattle's Best Coffee pods provided) PLUS a hot pot for heating up water for tea or instant coffee. Tea, sugar, stir sticks, coffee mugs and non-dairy creamer set up each day. Was nice. Set it up the evening before and 'first up' just plugged her in. It was nice!
