The driving time from LAX to the port which is in San Pedro, will be approx. 30 minutes on the weekend. Driving time from Long Beach to the port would be approx. 20 to 25 minutes.

The airport in Santa Ana is John Wayne...to the best of my knowledge, there is no Ronald Reagan Airport in Santa Ana, CA.
From John Wayne to the ship - it is about 45 minutes with no traffic.
Whether you went out of LAX, Long Beach, or John Wayne, I would allow an hour.
Still leaning to use Santa Ana. Yahoo maps show Santa Ana airport 15 miles longer. My biggest problem in deciding is the cost is less and I can fly first class with miles for a 5 hour flight. does anyone know of a shuttle service from Santa Ana I need to buy my tickets today
First Class.... Now you are talking! don't worry the money you save will pay for your shuttle, It won't be that much more than LAX and a nicer airport.
Book it. Plenty of shuttles you can book later.
Update: Chose Santa Ana for the above reasons. Arranged a GoSedan from Prime Time Shuttle for 80.00 each way includes tip, cuold have used regular shuttle for 55.00. The rest of the good news booked a JS GTYand yesterday got upgraded to a GS suite. Not bad for booking the cruise ten days ago. Hope the weather is good. What are the seas like this time of the year
