Default Oasis question

Will the inside balconies on the Oasis have chairs? When we asked C&A on our last cruise, they did not know. I guess there is a safety concern because people will be walking beneath the balconies.

I'm not sure I'm getting the safety issue.

Dave, I guess he means that some folks might "throw" the chairs onto Central Park (it was my first time being drunk, honestly).

I looked on the Oasis website at picture renderings and indeed, there are no chairs on the inside balcony's. Interesting!

Dave, surfguy is correct. At least, that is what C&A thought could be a reason for not having chairs. Again, though, they weren't sure themselves when I asked.

If people throw themselves off the regular outside balconies, what's to keep them from throwing themselves off the interior balconies into central park on top of someone ?? Chairs going over the balconies may not be the
problem--people may be !

Oasis is such an awesome ship I don't see anyone trying to throw themselves off the balconies and risk getting hurt and not enjoying the rest of the cruise.

What if they take something from their cabin and throw it off the balcony?

They could have chairs that are bolted down if this is really a concern. Do they not have that glass coffee table in the room either because they're afraid someone will throw it over?

I'm hoping the Zipline and Flowriders on Oasis will be open for most of the day!!

If not the lines will be crazy long!

CQ....at midnight the carousel turns into an over 21 X-rated ride where everyone wears masks from a Venice Carnival Mardi Gras Ball and naughty night time outfits and they play Salsa disco music from the 70's

sounds like a nice place to meet your fellow CM cruisers ,,

CQ..suggest you rent the video Casanova with Heath Ledger for suggestions for your costume

Venice I'll stick with Bolero's and the Disco for music and dance and the carousel before midnight.

addicted2, thanks. We checked out oasisoftheseas.com and there are chairs on the inside balconies. My wife and I enjoy sitting on the balcony in the evening and are considering these cabins as an alternative to the outside balconies which we are addicted to (thanks, Cruisemates).
Thanks again for the info.

Think your comment is very funny! It also has lots of merit. I will be on Oasis, Dec. 1st, and some of the predictions for this ship on www.cruisecritic.com, are as funny as yours. It's worth visiting this website too. I am on the first paying guest manifest and do expect lots of small problems. It's human nature and forgiveable.
