Default Transfer in L.A. to Mariner

Good Evening Folks, Sunday Nov. 8th, we will be making a flight to the City of Angels and hopping on Mariner for a late season Mexican Riviera sailing. Having never cruised out of L.A., what's the best way from LAX to port?? Have done both private transport and RCCL's official transfers before, just looking for what's most convenient. Rough distance from airport to cruise port would be helpful as well....Thanks in advance!!

We are sailing with you on Mariner 11-8-09. We are using Prime Time Shuttle from Santa Ana airport, using a Cosedan at 82.00 each way includes driver tip. Starting to get excited 8 days to go

I think LAX is about 15mi from the Port Of Los Angles. You might want to look at the super shuttle( www.supershuttle.com). The Port Of Los angles has a web site with transfer suggestions also.

My suggestion is to do a van share ride. Super shuttle and prime time shuttle both operate out of LAX. Here is a link to LAX website. http://www.lawa.org/welcome_lax.aspx?id=1298I I have used Super Shuttle, but not Prime Time shuttle. Super shuttle was okay. Also check with your hotel and see if they have a shuttle service. The airport is about 19 miles from San Pedro cruise terminal. In Los Angeles traffic that is about an hour.
