Celebrity has their schedule out for 2011 Europe. I'm disappointed. (Changed my mind - just looked at the new Silhouette - it has what I want. If you're Cpt Club you can book right now - which I did.
Felix I read that over on CC. I went to Celebrity, we are members, we have done 2 previous Celebrity cruises. I signed in, and I could not find anything new. It still only showed the Eclipse doing the med in 2011.

Phone directly to the capt. circle desk. That one is only for early bookings on the Silhouette. Let me find the iteneraries.
__________________ More than 300 days at sea so far with many more to come. (Actually more - one of these days I'll count them properly.)
January 12/13 - Celebrity Reflection
41 cruises - too many to list however cruiselines are in no particular order:
Azamara
Uniworld
RCL
Princess
NCL
HAL
Cunard
Celebrity
and some unknown tub
Okay, I went and checked in again. I guess they were put up today and I checked too early. The Constellation is doing at least one med cruise in September. (September 7, 2011) It is 10 day, but I only saw the one listed. There were also several 12 day ones, (I think the Equinox) from Rome.
All were high. The 10 day Constellation is about 3 times the price of the 7 day ones in Sept/Oct. 2010. But the transatlantics were good prices $1299 to $1499 for 14 day cruises for the balcony rooms. Now, if it was not for the 7 days at sea, I might would go for one of them. They had good itineraries in European ports for the most part.

I like the Celebrity Summit repositioning cruises for 2011. We could go to Bermuda and also spend a few days in Puerto Rico either pre or post cruise.
Our friend wants to wait and book the Europe cruise in June, and my hubby promised them we would wait. If prices have gone too high, as I suspect they will have, this will be a good alternative for us.

We ended up booking a transatlantic for next year-gave up on the friends. They backed out on a Europe cruise and then also backed out of the southern caribbean.
The transatlantic we picked leaves the Monday after Thanksgiving. We plan to go over a week before and our daughter go with us for a week in Italy-then she will fly home on the 25th and we board ship on the 26th.

So sorry Meg about your mom
As far as being attacked on CC, It seems to happen to a lot. Beth, "I love Scotland" had that problem too and had stopped posting on CC.
I came in contact with her again as she had planned to go on the transatlantic we have booked and was posting again on the roll call only-but she canceled. She also lost her husband in May-so she is going through a lot also. i cna't help but feel she may have canceled because she could not face this cruise without her hubby. Everyone else on our roll call are couples.
I think CC wants to discourage those of us that post a lot-I guess too many of us were chatting and making friends-instead of coming for info. I was not posting much there either until we booked this transatlantic.
We have also booked a little cruise on JOS in Dec. with our daughter. She has posted on the RCI board there on CC asking questions but I am staying away from there-too many meanies on that forum in particular.
Maybe you can tell me-does the thermal suite have a therapy pool like some of the HAL and Celebrity ships? I asked that over here but no one has replied.

Sorry to hear about your mom, you posts reflect how well you treated your mom.
Presently we have no cruises booked, probably will go on one in December,
alex

Iam not a spa person either-but I did like the therapy pool. Celebrity offered it for free, HAL had a charge. The best info I can get is no, it is just the heated loungers like HAL, a sauna, and a rain shower. I like the heated loungers but they are not worth paying $15 a day-if they had the therapy pool I would.
BTW-we got a free spa treatment certificate when we booked this cruise-I am giving it to my Meg. I care nothing about the spa either-outside of the therapy pool and heated loungers.

For the JOS 5 day we got it for slightly over $100 a night for a balcony room-now I am over 55 so we got the "Senior citizen" rate. They had this same rate for Thanksgiving, you may not qualify though, or you may not care about such a short cruise.
This cruise we picked because our daughter is off from work then-plus she and hubby want to go back to Universal Studios and possibly one of the Disney parks. Since we debark on Christmas eve-we may be at Disney on Christmas day.

Hmmm might have to look into that again..i am a few too years under the Sr Cit rate...for now...i am 29....by my math....
! Too funny! I used to feel that way-as hubby is a few eyars younger than me-but I have aged better than him ( on the outside-not inside-I have all sorts of health problems)-so I don't mind anymore-beside time tells on you anyway after 50!
