The teasers they presented today, showed just how much a cruiser could enjoy this amazing ship..or, maybe scare many off as well. The zip line was awesome, and, I can see CQ just zippin along. So many places to eat shop, and participate in, something for all the 6000, plus cruisers to pack into the 7 days.....bet many will book back to backs, just to get it all in..7 days does not seem enough time
I will really be interested in to see how emabarkation, and disembarking works, once reality sets in, in early Dec...Also, just how well FLL Airport fares, with so many more crusiers, trying to get in, and, in the air! Once the Allure ports..the weekends will be crazy!
I think Melissa, did a better job at championing all the things to do, then Sam did

Not so much for me I don't think. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a beautiful ship and and amazing accomplishment. However, some of it just gets a little too "busy" for me. Too much of an amusement park type of thing going on with it (for lack of a better description). I love some ammenities, but I still want to feel like I'm actually on a ship.
I will also be interested in how the embarking and disembarking will go. One drawback is that FLL is an older, not real updated airport which won't help when it comes to large crowds (it simply isn't designed for huge crowds). I have a feeling it will be really congested especially if the ship sells out or nearly does on a regular basis.

i am really NOT interested in behemoth OTS, BUT..,.....i WANTED to SEE more of the ship!!!
i could have done withOUT the rest of the GMA stuff...would have been happier with 2 hours of that thing! face it, who needs 2 or 3 stories on Oprah hanging it up!!
I have to admit that I haven't caught Oasis Fever {but} I do have to admit that it was more than I thought it would be. The interiors look good and while I don't think they did a great job of highlighting the neighborhoods the interior looked quite elaborate without being too over the top.
My wife actually thought it may be a ship she'd like to sail. You know what that means..........
Take care,
Mike

I was disappointed in GMA's job of covering the ship. I'm looking forward to our cruise, and it is a B2B. I simply want to see it and enjoy it, at least once.
Many of the new features are things that simply won't interest me, but we usually sail with our DS, DIL, and PGB (precious grandbaby). They are in their early 30's and the GB is 5. This ship is simply ideal for them! They will be with us for the 1st week that we are on the ship, and I see them working real hard to get everything in, that they will want to be doing.
As "busy" as the ship is, I see plenty of areas that I can relax, and simply enjoy being on a cruise.

Hi all,
My daughter is coming back from the OoTS,she said it is a very beautiful ship. Some particular places are most attractive especially the Central Park, but it takes more than a week to see all the corner of this awesome ship.I will be on her Dec.2010.
Nice weekend to all.
I can understand it will take more than 7 days but there are not going to be that many people who can afford to do b2b. The prices are already far too high and there just arn't near as many that can afford 1 week on her never mind 2. I'm afraid when reality sets it there were be problems in paradise.
Funny, as I looked at the different pictures some said to me - wonderful, beautiful - I would love to go while others said ugh no way - I don't know, I'm hoping we as least pass her somewhere when we take our January cruise.
I just can't get a grip on her yet.

Nothing down the pike at this time.
41 cruises - too many to list however cruiselines are in no particular order:
Azamara
Uniworld
RCL
Princess
NCL
HAL
Cunard
Celebrity
and some unknown tub
I have to agree i wish gma would of done the show live from the oasis and the whole 2 hours about the ship. If i remember right didnt on the freedom of the sea's the new's media actually do there shom from the freedom and most of the 2 hours or so was about the ship and not 90% news???

Agreed, the show was not as good as when the Today show did Freedom. I still think the prices are out of control for this ship; just need to hold my excitment until 2011 when she's priced correctly. Until then, I'll enjoy the deal I got on Freedom for Feb. 2010 in a Grand Suite!
While I am not a fan of the outside of this ship, once inside it's a different matter. I made Bruce watch all I had recorded, and, he surprised me by saying he doesn't want to go on it........But trust me I would twist his arm His reasoning I can understand, becaus I think the same thing....Getting on and off this ship could be a killer!

I got that excited feeling at the beginning of the show when Sam was up on deck, and there was that view across the deck, then out to the seas.
Then tunnel vision turned on.
I saw nothing I was interested in seeing, and was quite shocked at the amount of time was spent on the rock wall and the FloRider, like those were something new.
I once again got excited when they said they were going to walk end to end......AND THEN SPED IT UP SO FAST, EVEN PLAYING IT IN SLO MO ON THE DVR WAS TOO FAST!
11 thumbs down!
