Default Back To Back Sailing Question

Anyone know how RCCL handles back to back sailings re: do you have to go back into the terminal and check-in again? Can you check-in for both on the first sailing and just stay in your cabin? And even more specifically, how will they handle it on Oasis if differently than other ships. A friend told me he heard they have a special lounge in the terminal at pier 18 for Oasis passengers staying on and that you go there to check in again but can't confirm that.

We did a back to back on Majesty a couple of years ago. We were told to report to the lobby at 7:00 AM. We were escorted to the terminal to get new set sail cards and then escorted back on board. Luggage stayed in our cabin and the whole process took 15 minutes. We then had the ship to ourselves for a few hours. I don't know if this is the procedure for all ships or even if it is still the procedure on Majesty, but it was very efficient.

The Sea pass card must have the current date for the new sailing.
You can get off the ship (get your new card first) and then go and enjoy that port for a while. Or, you can just get back on board and do as you wish.

I did a B-B cruise and the port was VanCouver, BC. Perfect weather and we walked the entire downtown area and returned in time for a late lunch.

Question Back to Back Cruises

We have done two b2b cruises on the same ship (plus one on two different ships, but that's another story).

On one of our b2b's, we met in the Schooner Bar, then were escorted off the ship by a staff member, taken through immigration, then right back onto the ship. Took all of 10 minutes.

On the last b2b, we were taken off the ship, and had to wait with the rest of the passengers to re-board.

Haven't a clue how it will work with Oasis.

When we did our b2b on Mariner. They gave us our Sail Pass card and we had the whole ship to ourself . The cabin steward had to tell security gauard that we could enter our cabin. In our first port they took our picture

Thanks folks,

sounds like they may different procedures at different ports. No problem though, we'll check when we get onboard. As long as I'm not filling out paperwork and watching the ship leave without us.
