Default Freedom dining room attire???

Can you give me examples of what people are wearing on Freedom of the Seas in the dinning room?? We will have two formal nights one smart casual night and the others are listed as casual.

Thanks Tons,

Linda A

All the ships are about the same. Slacks and nice top are just fine. These days they are even wearing jeans on non-formal nights. They just really don't allow shorts, tanks and the like.

All I ask (and it's the only thing that bothers the H*** out of me ,) is men wearing ball caps at the table.

I know when we went on Carnival in '08 that they had really relaxed their dinning room dress code but I kept hearing RCCL was still pretty dressy.

I am organizing a group trip in Jan on FOS and everyone is asking what to pack. I was dissapointed that I packed so many dressy clothes on the Carnival ship only to discover I didn't really need them.

Has this changed on RCCL as well??

Thanks,

Linda A

They have not changed the formal nights - I love formal nights. I would say by far the majority of people dress up on those nights. I think it's kind of sad to see those who insist on wearing jeans to formal night - but it doesn't affect my cruise.

formal nights ,most people that go to the main dinning room will be dressed for the occasion. smart casual is not really done anymore, but I personally dress in nice pants and collared shirt every other night. I am with felix, no jeans or ball caps any night.

Wink dress code

Other than your 2 "formal" evenings, you can pretty much follow the dress code for casual nights. I wouldn't bother packing a sports jacket, just takes up too much room and you hardly see the guys wearing them, just a nice polo type shirt and docker type pants will do nicely. I understand they are allowing jeans, way to go!
