Royal Caribbean has now made Barefoot beach a private beach you now have to pay extra for. They have also littered it with a bunch of cabanas that will run you a few hundred dollars for the day. Shame on you Royal Caribbean.

I've been reading that in other places as well - Several hundred dollars!!! Sheeeesh - so far I'm really not impressed with this "new" island and I've heard numerous things going wrong with the Oasis on the paying cruise. Still not impressed.

Granted if you are in a suite you can continue to enjoy these amenities, but you can shop around for other cruise lines with similar or better suite perks for cheaper money.
I am very curious about the Oasis, but I can see now my dear husband would not be happy in a regular cabin. We enjoy service but the Oasis at this time maybe beyond our price point.
