Default Radiance of the seas ?- Tampa

We are looking at cruising either the end of this year or next year and looked at the (I think) Radiance of the Seas out of Tampa. I have only cruised once before and it was on carnival and we had the smallest room available I think.

1. We are looking at a grand suite, are they worth it and what type of concierge service comes with it.
2. we have a 5 year old daughter and was wondering how the children's programs compare to carnival and what you think of them.
3. any other info you think would be helpful

Thanks in advance.

I can say that RCCL does great with children. You will love the Radiance...I promise. Out of my 4 cruises...the Radiance is our favorite ship so far. We had a balcony stateroom and it was even the largest of our staterooms so far and beautifully furnished compared to some others.

Book it and enjoy

I just got off of Radiance and I have to say it is a beautiful ship. We were in a GS and it is a wonderful cabin and was well worth the price, if you want a large cabin, bathroom and balcony. The concierge service is nice but we used the concierge for the evening concierge club reception and arranging our luggage valet service.

I can't say about the Adventure Ocean since we didn't use it.

Here is a link to some pictures of the cruise and the cabin.

Take care,
Mike

We too just got off the Radiance...and it IS a beautiful ship...The captain is really a kick one of the nicest we've had. We'd go again in a minute!

We had a junior suite on deck 10...lovely really lovely and we had plenty of cabin room plus a nice size deck. We've never been on Carnival so can't compare.

But one of the smallest cabins we've ever had was on Celebrity...we had a Sky Suite and it looked like the size of a small inside cabin...hahaha

My family is doing a little 4 day on her in December. Our daughter works in the school system, and she is limited as to when she can go on a cruise. The December 20th cruise was still fairly reasonable, compared to the other cruises sailing Christmas week. It was slightly higher, but not outrageous, so we booked her.

You guys have me excited about this little cruise!
