We'll be cruising on Voyager Galveston-Barcelona April 18-May 2. We've never done a Transatlantic crossing before. What kind of weather are we likely to encounter on this route?

After leaving Galveston and getting closer to the Keys should have warm weather all the way until about 2 days out of Spain or is it Madeira you port first. We did the reverse TA 11/29/08 and we did not hit warm weather until about 3 days out of La Plamas, Canary Islands.
We did Tran from Fla to England last year and the weather was great. 70 degrees + on the way over. We are doing 4/10 Nav from Fla to Rome and are hoping for the same weather. Have fun !
We are on the crossing also this is our 5th time and we have been very lucky in having good weather and calm seas on all of them, spring clothes with light jackets and an umbrella is what I would recommend.
We have a private van leaving Hobby for Galveston @ 11.am on the 18th with 4 open seats, anyone need a shuttle? azmo41@cox.net
