I will be cruising to St. Lucia in March and wanted to know some recommendations for zip lining in St. Lucia. Should we find an independent tour or take the one offered by RCCL? I would like to see some sites and make a few stops. Will the excursion from RCCL do this?

I thought Oasis was the only ship with a zip line. And even that one is so short it isn't even really worth waiting for. But if the ship goes to Labadee then there is a great zipline there.
You can zipline in many ports. I have done it in Jamaica and other Caribbean islands.

We are sailing on the Adventure of the Seas not the Oasis of the Seas. I don't think that the Adventure of the Seas has a zip line.
No adventure of the sea's does not. When you said AOS i thought you where talking about oasis. Been on adventure its a nice ship!!!!

To answer your question, going on the ship's tour will probably take more time - you have to wait for the other teams to get through the zipline, etc. So you probably won't see other sites, but I could be wrong.
If you want to see other sites of the island you might consider hiring a driver while onshore basically for the day - although I can't tell you how much that would cost.
