Default Liberty OTS- First cruise for family

I have a friend who just booked on a cruise for her family and mom. She has two daughters and one son. Age ranges of the kids are 8 though 14. She is sailing on Feb 5th and the ship is Liberty OTS. Ports of call are Charlotte Amialie, St Thomas, Philipsburg, St. Maarten, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Labadee, Haiti. My friend is really looking forward to this cruise because it is their first cruise. I would like for all of you friends who has experienced this give them your suggestions to make their trip worthwhile and become an future fellow cruiser to come.

There will be many things for them to do. Perhaps too many.

Make sure the kids get involved in the kids programs. It's a great way for them to do things they enjoy, meet other kids and give mom and dad a bit of time to themselves.

There will be a lot of beach fun on Labadee plus they have added activities including a zipline.

Shopping opportunities are all over St. Thomas and St. Martin and they can also hit the beaches with the kids.

I know they won't be bored.

Take care,
Mike

They will love Liberty! Freedom class ships are great for kids in that age group!

Great ship for families with kids!!
