Liberty 3/14 :)

Once again another awesome cruise on Liberty my love.

It was nice to see many familiar faces. Food was good service was excellent. The weather was wonderful.

CD was James Andrews who was very entertaining as usual. He is on my top 3 best CD list. :D

The DJ's were good, my favorite latin band "Salsa Magic" was onboard and they were excellent  The pool band "Men of Culture" were awesome they had me dancing poolside for hours each day with their excellent music. 8)

The comedian was very funny and put on a great show. There was also a Jersey boys tribute. They were very good and I'm not really a fan of Jersey Boys music but I loved this show.

Ports were Ocho Rios, Coz, Labadee and Grand Cayman. :)
In Labadee they had piles of relief aid for Haiti. There were boxes and pallets lined up about the length of half the ship. There was ALOT of stuff. Two thumbs up to Royal!!

It's springbreak time so there were kids of all ages onboard.

We had a Saturday 5:00pm flight however there were heavy delays and the flight kept getting delayed and delayed. Plane took off at 1:30 am :o
cancelled the precruise hotel for that nite since we got into Mia about 4:30 in the morning. We hung out in the airport for a bit then headed to the pier around 10ish.

However the return flight had no issues. We had a 10:10 am flight out of Mia. We left the promenade at 7am and was at the airport by 7:40 waiting for the flight. We could have even made the 9am flight.

Thank you Royal Caribbean for another excellent cruise vacation!! Love you Royal! xoxo

Welcome back CQ.

Of course we missed you while you were gone, but I am very happy that you enjoyed your cruise so much.

I have cruised twice on the Liberty OTS myself and they too were awsome, and funfilled cruises.

I am a musician who used to actually read Billboard Magazine - and I can't believe there is a tribute band for a band I have never even heard of. Who are the Jersey Boys?

There is as whole musical play devoted to the Jersey Boys called the Jersey Boys in Toronto. Been playing for months. It's Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Paul you are very knowledgeable, but we can't expect you to know everything. ( maybe almost everything ).

Welcome back CQ !!
You should be named the new godmother of Liberty OTS !!!

Jersey Boys show is on Broadway too. Friends who saw it loved it. I'm not a fan of Frankie Valli music but after the show on Liberty I think I should check out the Broadway version.

And here they are.....

CQ...you are tooooooooo young to remember this,:cool: but in the 60" Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons were huge with a string of #1 hits on the pop charts ..they were sort of the "next wave" of the 50's doo-wop groups and Frankie was the Robin Thicke of his time

they use to play at the Latin Casino, outside of PHL (ask your parents about that club), in your neck of the woods and were reputed to be one of the favorite groups of a certain criminal element and were a running gag in the Sopranos tv series

nice hat in the pictures

My DW wants to see the Jersey Boys on Broadway. A couple of years ago we had gotten tickets a few weeks in advance of a trip to NY city, but because of a strike we were not able to see the show.
