We want to book the Explorer for October. We need two cabins and would perfer connecting (not available) or cabins next to each other. The only choices available are:
JS 9270 and 9272
1358 and 1354 (not sure about noise from above)
E1 8538 and 8536 (too small for 3?)
We need one of the cabins for 3 adults, so there are not too many available.
I have been on both Explorer and Voyager; The junior suite can accomodate three adults. As for noise, I have been in junior suites, grand suites, balcony cabins, and inside cabins. I have never heard of any loud noise from any cabins. Last year on Voyager our cabin was on deck 10, just below the pool area. Some passengers were concerned with noise from the pool deck. Even with our balcony open we rarely heard noise. With baclony door shut, no noise at all. Since you can't get ajoining rooms have you looked into getting a JS and an inside room directly across from the JS?
Cheers
