Default Royal Caribbean Dumps Park West

Quick note #2 our contract with Park West Art Services has expired and we have decided not to renew it. There is a wind down period in effect and the art auctioneers will finish on different ships at different times over the next few months. We are evaluating what if any art-related programming we may offer in the fleet in the future beyond Oasis of the Seas where Art Actually is our provider of art tours and art for purchase onboard.
Why Not?

Well that's good news. About time. I just hate rip offs.
Dec. 13 - Windstar sailing yacht. Wonderful!!

Just completed - Celebrity Reflection, Nov. 22 (learning to sail solo) followed by Independence of the Seas Nov. 30.

44 cruises - too many to list however cruiselines are in no particular order:

and some unknown tub

Yes, I'm a Royal Chump and proud of it.

WOW, this speaks volumes!! I wish I was a fly on the wall, when ParkWest got this news! Many people will be disappointedyou can bet... but in the long run, if they don't bring them back, it will be another cruise memory, of days gone by...I bet the monkey see, monkey do attitude, will come into play, and other lines drop them as well.

Trip, with her book & tea!

This is good news. I was just on Century and stopped to listen to the art auction. They haven't changed in 10 years and people still believe they are making a great investment.

Take care,

I figured this may happen....I was just never into that while cruising, too much other good stuff to do.

I'll miss the free champagne! Other than that, good riddance as far as I'm concerned.....I once won a print, and they wouldn't let me carry it off. It cost me more to ship it home, than it was worth!

I almost bought a Peter Max print, until I found out it was a replica and not an original. No way was I going to pay top dollar for a Peter Max carbon copy; for all I know thay have a xerox maching onboard making copies. Glad they are gone.
