Default Get the best deal

I am thinking about anther cruise in Feb of 2011. But I want to get my money's worth on cruise now days due to money can be very tight. I have two cruise in my mind where i can take time off from school on break. First one is 9 day cruise on Explorer of the Seas sailing date of Feb 18 - Feb 27th. Cruising out of New Jersey. The other on is 8 day cruise on Liberty of the Seas and the sailing date of Feb 19th - Feb 27th. Cruising out of Fort Launderdale. Its cheaper for me to fly to New Jersey over Fort Launderdale. Please advise. JIM

We did the nine day cruise on the Explorer and it was excellent. Have also been on the Liberty and loved the ship. Are the prices of the two comparable and what is more important for you the itinerary or the ship? We loved the Dominican Republic stop with the Explorer and there aren't very many ships that stop there, it was a don't miss and I highly recommend it. Give us a few more details and we will all be able to give you better advice.

I have only been on one cruise that is on Mariner of Seas. It was a wonderful 7 day cruise for the first time. So this will be my 2nd cruise and never been to the Caribbeans.
Sailing from NJ on Explorer of the Seas for a nine day sailing to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Dominican Republic and Labaidee. The other option is Liberty of the Seas for a 8 day sailing to St Thomas, Philiipsburg, San Juan and Labaidee.

How ever from where I am at it cost me 250 bucks(round trip) per person to NJ for the 9 day trip and 700 bucks(round trip) to fly to Miami for a 8 day trip.

James,
Gosh, both have almost the same islands, except for just one....If there is one you haven't been to yet, go with that, both are great cruises... How is the price difference, if any?

Mariner and Explorer are the same class ship; Liberty is the next size up. You might decide to take the larger ship, which will have a few more things to do onboard. Have fun.
