DooWop cruise

I am searching for a cruise out of Florida, Jan. 2011. I have gone on many doowop cruises in the past, either on Carnival or Royal Carribean. The one that I am searching for is a Doowop cruise that I believe is on the "Oasis". Can anyone help me with this?

What is a doowop cruise? Is it to do with music from the 60's?

I did a bit of googling for 2010 and 2100 music themed cruises..I found Elvis, rock, a Backtreet Boys cruise, country, and assorted others, even a Sinatra cruise, but no doo wop...Give RCI a call, and see what they say.

I've done two DooWop cruises and both were on NCL. Might check with them as they seem to have more 'theme' cruises.

The Malt Shop Memories cruises are great .They have the big name doowop singers .

I've posted numerous times that since 1999 I've been a contributor to an online doowop music board .Many of the regulars are doowop singers and radio DJ's and Malt Shop Memories is frequently discussed

Henry43, my friend was on that cruise; he said it was great. He posted pics of Frankie Avalon and him sitting on the rocks in Cozumel. Plus he has pics of the other artists. He said all the groups were very friendly and they always stopped to have ther pictures taken with guests.

I was friends with one of the original Duprees 45 years ago . I try and get to as many of their concerts as I can .They are still great . I would love to be on this cruise but I have a wedding that will occur during the cruise period .

I was planning to see Emil Stucchio and The Classics in concert last night was it was storming all day and the concert last night was outdoors and I assumed it was cancelled .

DooWop cruise is fun. I think there is a doo wop concert event thing happening on land as well. From what I heard it's even better than cruise. I signed up already. Not sure what's the link but just google doowop getaway.

Its going to be in Orlando,Fla . in 2012 . One of the guys appearing went to HS with me .

Jan at Mariott World Center in Orlando. I think the tickets are $199 per concert night. Better google it to be sure.

6 doowop groups are appearing . IMHO only one group is worth seeing and this group appears for FREE all over the eastcoast .
