Default Ships atriums

I have to admit I love atriums, and think RCI, especially on the Soverign class, got it right, from the get go....I love to people watch, and this is the perfect place to be seen! The next incarnation was the promenade, and this became the "new" in place...When you cruise, on other ships, do you miss these wonderful places? Other ships have tried with some of their atiums, but I think, RCI's are the best designed at sea!

Trip, with her book & tea!

The atrium's are very beautiful and romantic; I like the royal promenade; mainly to sit and people watch.

on the charter smooth jazz cruises the jazz musicians often hold both scheduled & impromptu jam sessions in the atrium very often with acoustic guitars which is absolutely awesome...the music just rises to the upper tiers and often the paying guest who are musicians join in

my best time to people watch is to sit in the atrium the last full day at sea and watch 1st time guests get upset as they try to settle their sign and sail accounts because they often don't realize how much they drink

also, on really hot sea days the atrium provides a cool oasis just to sit and have a nice drink and talk to your significant other

Oh how true, Royal Caribbean does have the best when it comes to atriums...I think second would be for me, Princess...Now the larger Royal Caribbeans ships don't have the atriums, but the mall area, which has some great places to sit and relax, etc.
