Default Booked another one...

Talked hubby into booking another cruise (yea!!). We will be on the Majesty OTS next month (20th) for an anniversary weekend getaway. We have been to Nassau before but it has been awhile. With Oasis stopping there on a regular basis I was wondering what beach is the best. Last time we were there we spent the day at the Wyndham hotel but had to buy a day pass to be there. Are there beaches that are close by and open to the public with out paying to be there. Are there more stores by the port now that the big ship is there, last time the shopping wasn't that great and had a hard time finding souviners. Any other advice as to what to do in Nassau would be appreciated. Not to interested in going to Atlantis due to crowds and price. Thanks all.

My wife and I were in Nassau and we took a shore excursion to a private beach; they had beach chairs, they also had a dolphin encounter at this beach; it was like a small private island; about a 20 minute boat ride from the ship and you could see the Wyndam beach almost directly across from the beach.

Was this booked through the ship or independantly? I know exactly what beach you are talking about. How much was it to go there and what did you think of the beach and amenities?
