Hi, anyone who has stayed in a Boardwalk or Central Park balcony cabin I would like feedback. I am looking at booking a cabin but would like to get feedback about your likes or dislikes. thanks for the help.

Central Park is so subdued that I would take Boardwalk for the shows and action. I had ocean balcony on our freebie but spoke with folks in Boardwalk about possible noise in cabin. They swore the sliding doors did a fantastic job of reducing the sound(s).

thanks for the feedback. I am hearing the same thing. People tell me you can watch the shows and the action on the Boardwalk, but when you close your balcony, the noise goes away; also the cabin I am looking at is three away from the end; so I will also have an ocean view. thanks.

While I've never sailed in one of these cabins, I do not believe I would ever buy one. There is zero privacy. Consider this, the cabin directly across the ship from you can stare directly into your cabin. For this reason, you'll end up keeping your shades drawn for most of the cruise (e.g., when your changing, etc.). For me, ocean facing balconies are much better. I would imagine these new boardwalk and central park rooms are much like the other promenade cabins on Voyager and Freedom, 95% of the time people in these cabins have their shades drawn as they don't want people looking in (both from the promenade and the people directly across the hall from them). Just my opinion.

Thanks for your feedback;; I understand your privacy concerns; I thought about that. The amount of time spent in a cabin is minimal. I have heard some great things about these boardwalk cabins; people say they watch the aqua shows from their balcony, they say they can watch the parades from their balcony; so it's not a big deal to close the curtains. We booked three boardwalk balcony cabins this past week. Can't wait.

My cabin 10329 is the (last) aft cabin can see osean view too, my other family members on 10327. They can unlock a gate between 2 balcony if you request. It was the best cabin we can see Oasis Dream show many times just from our balcony. Zero noise after door closed.

I was crazy about the last cabin therefore, I checked it very often, and when people dropped or released this cabin. I asked my TA to changed my cabin. That's why I got it (cabin 10329). Just let you know from my experience.

We have our travel agent checking on the end cabin. we are waitlisted for it; so if someone cancels we will get it. if not; we will be happy with the one we currenly booked.
