I've booked Allure of the Seas for Sept. 18, 2011. I've pretty much sailed exclusively with Carnival with one exception. I did sail on Adventure of the Seas a few years ago and felt that the service level overall was way below Carnivals. I'm willing to give RCI another chance mainly because I love the larger ships. Hopefully, things will be better this time and I will have another cruise line to plan my vacations with! I would love to hear others comments on the Oasis, since the Allure will be her sister ship.
I will be on Allure on the 23rd of Jan, and Freedom on 4 Dec 11.. I have never had bad service, food, or negative things on a Royal Caribbean Cruise. Oasis and Allure, are over the top. The reviews by both fellow cruisers and the press have nothing but good things to say about Oasis. Certain things can go wrong on any cruise. The food on most cruise ships is controlled choas. Imagine having to prepare up to 5,000 meals at two seating every night. You will get fed; but sometimes the service won't be perfect; the wait staff is sometimes understaffed. Than doesn't mean you can't have a wonderful time. I am hopeful you give Allure of the Seas a try and have fun. I will post a review when I return on 30 Jan 11. Cheers

I have sailed on the Oasis, and the service was excellent. Much better than on my last Carnival cruise.
I have also booked the Allure for 1-16-2011. I am looking forward to that cruise.
