We are going on a 5 day cruise on the Monarch of the Sea. I was reading up on the ship and it seems kind of old. This is our first cruise as a family with a 10, 7, 2, year old. Are they going to be happy and is there enough for them to do?
The Monarch is a beautiful ship..I sailed her sister the Majesty twice....the atrium is fabulous!
The kids program, will provide lots of fun for the kids...you don't say when you are sailing, and, that can determine how many other kids may be on board for them to interact with.

They also offer a great kids program, so everyone should have a ball...Keep in mind, being one of the older ships, the cabins are on the small side, but you really shouldn't be in them too long, sleep, shower and change basically.
I just booked a 3 day for my daughter and myself. I am really looking forward to this one. We've never been on Royal Caribbean before, PLUS we are leaving the boys at home this time.
Does anyone have any recommendations for "can't miss" activities for a 13 year old girl? She got violently ill on our Disney cruise in January, so she really needs to have fun on this one!
