Default Need help with Radiance plumbing problems

We are taking an Oct. cruise on Radiance...have read about about
plumbing problems in various cabins . We have 3 cabins (for family)
deck seven forward port side.

Is anyone back from similar cabin positions. I've ready many posts on
when problems were supposed to be fixed, but does anyone have
actual recent update?

Sailed on Radiance about 3 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the ship.

When are you going Lou? I will be onboard Oct 21st. I am not worried about plumbing problems.

Also going the 21st. If it were just my husband and myself wouldn't be worried, but
with family members going on their first cruise would like it to be hassle and "odor"
free. Anyway we're going and will have a great time. May finally see you at the
pool bar...how will I recognize you...the one with a Red Stripe?

I cruised with Radiance earlier this year and yes they had a brief plumbing problem sailing the Mexican Riveria. Hence, my bathroom stunk, and the public one on my deck hall was literally clogged... I took pics for my facebook...

...overall I loved the ship and will definately cruise again next year to alaska...

I can't remember the stateroom number, but it was on the 7th floor D1 at the port middle side of the ship...

I would not worry too much about the plumbing. Always look on the bright side!

Maybe you will get to see some plumber's crack!

I recently heard on another cruise site that the Radiance will be finished with a plumbing upgrade, they've been working on a few rooms at a time while underway...? Any way they should be finished by Sept...We'll be on her Oct 30th. I always bring lysol spray and some glade plug ins to keep things smelling fresh, and a tip from others...keep the bathroom door open when not in the room to keep stale air from building up...? Hope this helps, enjoy your trip and let us know how it went...

That's great news. I was planning on the Lysol, but the plug-ins should probably
go on this cruise, too. Never had a problem on any other ship.
