Default Explorer of the Seas w/Child - What cabin type?

I am thinking about booking the Explorer of the Seas and have a 6 year old son. What type of cabin would give my husband and me the most privacy at night? Do we need to book connecting cabins? A suite? We've sailed before on Disney and had the benefit of the privacy curtain in those cabins.

A Grand Suite is about the size of a normal hotel room, there is a curtain you can pull for privacy and it has a good size bathroom.

I have to agree, I think that would work and most likely cheaper than booking two cabins, plus you should get a regular bathtub in that cabin catagory.

We have booked this suite on this ship and we have 4 in our family. The kids shared the couch/bed with no problems.

You'll like the larger bathroom not to mention plenty of room to move about the cabin. Plus the perks of booking a suite are pretty nice too.

Be sure to check out the kids camp!!! Our two would rather stay there than be with us and they were 11 and 7 when we last sailed the Explorer....

HAVE FUN, you'll LOVE this ship!
