The Best Cruise I Have Ever Been On Was. . .

Please give your comments on your best cruise and what made it the best cruise.

For my wife and I was on the Royal Caribbean 15 Day Trans/Atlantic Barcelona to Galveston, TX Spanish T/A. The ports of call at Cartagena, Spain was so good. A Mediterranean city and a navel station located in the Region of Murcia, southeastern Spain was just an incredible experience. Then the Canary Islands as the last port before we sailed off for six full days and nights at sea to Nassau. Being at sea for six full days provides an experience of what sailing is all about. Go to sleep with the balcony door open and hear the sea and feel the Atlantic ocean mist in the room. Wake up and sit on the balcony drinking coffee and danish sent by room service. . . .oh what a experience. No phone, no need to check emails. . .just the two of us and the water in view. I would love to do a long cruise again with many days at sea.

The best cruise I have ever been on was....

Went on the Mariner June 2007. We took four of our five boys with (ages 11-19). It was what we call our first real cruise (we don't really call our Monarch cruise to Ensenada a real cruise as it felt like we were in closets and Ensenada was such a dissapointment.) we went all out and booked the royal Family suite at the back of the ship and as soon as we steped onboard we knew we were hooked. The ship was incredible as was every other aspect of the cruise, from the shows to the stateroom to our tablemates. It was our first time to the Caribbean and we were so amazed at how beautiful the islands and the water was. We really went all out and tried to do as much as possible both on the ship and at the islands. By far it really set the bar for what we expect on our of our cruises and we have not been dissappointed. After our experience on the Mariner we knew we would always cruise with Royal Caribbean and will be leaving on our ninth cruise on the Oasis in just over three weeks. We also will be going on our third cruise on the Mariner in January as that ship will always hold a special place in our hearts.
