I believe there are several packages. One for soda, one for water, one for juices. This is from their web site.... But soda is $6.00 a day, plus tip.

From RCI web site:

"The fountain soda package entitles you to unlimited refills at any of our bars or lounges, Windjammer Café, Main Dining room, and our private destinations. A complimentary Coca-Cola® souvenir cup is included as part of every fountain soda package. The cost of a fountain soda package is determined by the length of your stay, with an average daily cost of $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children* plus gratuity. (*Child prices available for kids under 18.) The fountain soda package is sold for the entire length of the cruise vacation only. The fountain soda packaged is served in all lounges, bars and dinning room venues including specialty restaurants and Windjammer restaurant. Only fountain soda is offered with the soda packages. The mini bar sodas are not included in the package and carry a separate charge."

Like the above post mentioned; those prices are correct and add 15% gratuity to that price.

Correct... So with tip, its $6.90 per day....

If we knew what the single serving cost was, we could figure out what the break even point was.

Why do you have to pay a gratuity for pop?

I would highly recommend that you buy a drinks package especially if you know that you will be drinking smiliar drinks during your cruise.

Here is price list of all the drinks served onboard Royal Caribbean Cruises and be warned these dont include 15% gratuity. So you can imagine that you will hefty at the end especially if you like a drink.

Default Soda card

The price for teens (up to 18) is a good deal. The individual canned drinks are around $2.25 each so the break even point is more than 2 a day. Since you have to pay for a soft drink, even at dinner, this is a bargain for us. We are taking 2 17-year olds on our next cruise. They are still considered the child price and they can have them out by the pool, meals, etc. This even includes the private islands. I don't have any experience with the bottled water prices.
