Ticket Name Changes?

I am trying to figure out whether RC - or any other cruise line - lets you change the name of the person you are cruising with. I want to go on a cruise, but I'm not sure who is going to come with me. I can plan now, but I'll only really know a month or so beforehand, and I want to book several months into the future.

This seems like it would be a common enough question, but I find conflicting info on it. Some say that I need to pay a $100 fee to change the name, others say they won't do it. Does anyone know which cruise line makes this the easiest?

You have a better chance to change passengers when done before the final payment is due. Before that, they should do it with a small fee or nothing, as long as its done in a timely manor...Best bet would be sure to find your cruisemate before you book, then no hassle...

I thought you were able to book a cabin, with one name, the other to be given, before final payment. A solo cruiser would only have one name.

You can book a cabin with one name and the other as TBA however you can't hold it too long.

You can however, book 2 people into a cabin and change one name only prior to cruising - as close as 48 hours out. There is no charge for this name change.

One of the original ppl booking must always remain on the booking.
