Just sailed on Vision in July through the Baltics. She's obviously an older ship and will have more wear and tear than you would find on a brand new ship; however, the crew does a great job at keeping her in check and up to par. I sailed in a Grand Suite and the view from the living area is amazing, really would strongly recommend that cabin. Food was good overall; I wouldn't hesitate to sail on her again. As a side note, I've sailed on almost every ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet, the line does provide a consistent service and feel to their cruises.
I sailed on Vision of the Seas two times last year (Baltic and Norwegian coast). She had a very good crew and they made you feel at home.
The main restaurant had very good food, actually the best I have experienced on any RCI ship.
Windjammer (buffet) on the other hand was "only" OK.
There are no specialty restaurants onboard, which can be a drawback.
Not as much to do onboard as on RCI's bigger ships, but it feels more like a "true" ship.
What strikes one most are all the windows which give nice views of the sea. The atrium is a nice place.
