Default Liberty of the Seas Questions Anyone?

Hello Everyone,

Just returned from the Liberty B2B 10/10 and 10/17 cruises. Had a great time and met Moderator John (shared a few beverages with him too). If anyone has any questions about the ship or cruise feel free to ask away.

The only port that we repeated was Labadee. It was our first port of the two weeks and also the last. We had been to Labadee several years ago and I am happy to report that RCL has made several improvements to the property. We enjoyed our time spent there.

Other than Labadee, our ports were Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios and Cozumel on the Western leg and St. Maarten and San Juan on the Eastern side.

Hello, We will be on the Liberty this coming January,How was the food and entertainment? Do you have any suggestions or is there room for improvements. We will be on deck six, Middle of the Ship.We hope it will be a good location.

We are doing the eastern route, Miami, St. Martins, San Juan & Labadee.

We cruised on the Carnival Liberty last winter and it could have been better.

Any Advice Much Appreciated

SophySeaDog, I have sailed on the Carnival Liberty and on The Liberty of the Seas.
Let my tell you that the Liberty OTS is much better, that is why we have done it twice.

Your cabin location should be fine. I wouldn't anticipate any difficulties at all. The Promenade is on deck 5 so you should have easy access without the noise.

The food was good although Portofinos was a bit of a disappointment in the service category. I think the problem was our server rather than the venue as a whole.

My best advice is to consider bfast on your balcony or in the main dining room instead of the Windjammer. The Windjammer gets quite crowded and it can be tough to find a table during peak times. No problems like that in the dining room and largely the same fare.

Default Dress code first night at sea

Hi Everyone,On the first night at sea is it usually casual wear or do we need to dressup in the main dining room? Also if we board around lunchtime are the cabins ready for us to use?

No, you can dress casual the first evening, will be a casual evening. The cabins usually aren't ready til around 1:00 or so, but you can still catch lunch in the Windjammer and explore the ship until you can access your cabin.
