Default First Cruise as Diamond member on The Liberty

Made it to Diamond & 1st cruise will be on Liberty in March. Need advice re: diamond lounge. What can I expect & what are the rules. I want to obey guidelines. Are they spelled out for you somewhere. I don't want to embarrass myself. Can someone explain what it is like in the lounge ? Thanks, I hate being a newbie !!

You will have a package with all the "rules" in your cabin along with a special key to open the Diamond Lounge. Basically, they have free drinks (self service) and hot/cold apps during the dinner hours. You can also use the Coffee machine to make some specialty coffees free of charge as well. Technically it's supposed to be just for Diamond Members; however, if you want to bring in a "friend" they generally over look it. Just try not to bring more than one person with you, they'll get a bit more annoyed.

On the Liberty you will find the Diamond Lounge on deck 14. It is very nice, there is a full bar and bartender, not self-serve. speciality coffee from the machine is available anytime, self-serve. Do the Diamond breakfast in the MDR. Enjoy

I enjoyed the Diamond lounge to be a nice perk. The staff was very friendly and the drinks were top notch.
I enjoyed the Diamond breakfast as well.

They are also doing away with the key card to access the lounges. My last 2 cruises (Allure and Explorer) used room key to enter. Much nicer than separate cards.

Cool Diamond Lounge

On Voyager they use a lounge for Diamond members with no key. They have someone standing there to show card to. For Diamond Plus they have a private lounge that requires your room key to access.
