Miami hotel recommendation

We have a friend who is leaving Miami the end of January on the
Liberty. He wants a hotel where he can leave his car and get
a shuttle to the cruiseport.

Any suggestions?

Parking at the Port of Miami is quite expensive these days, and there's not any hotels in the downtown area that I know of who offer free parking during the cruise. Think you'd have to go fairly far out to find that amenity.

Perhaps one of the airport hotels.

The Hampton Inn Coconut Grove (305-448-8200) is close to downtown and has a cruise package with two one-way transports to the Port of Miami and free parking (up to 7 nights)
