Default OnBoard Credit
With RCL can i prepay on my on board account?

Last cruise (not RCL) we spend $1200 so I'd like to pre paiy $1000 befor the cruise.

Sure! Cruise lines would love to have your money.

Seriously:

You can have your travel agent purchase on board credit for you or you can purchase your own through the Bon Voyage gifts area on their website.

It does have the advantage of not having a big CC bill after the cruise but either way you have to pay for it.
