Default Cabin Set-Up

My family is taking our first cruise in June. We are staying in a interior stateroom. For those of you who have experience cruising, what is the layout of the room like? In the drawings, it looks like there are only two twin beds, but there are four of us! Are two of the beds trundle-style beds or murphy style or something, or do they expect two people to sleep in a twin bed? Ha!

Thanks for any info you can give.

No, they don't expect you to sleep on two twin beds. I've never cruised RCI, but Carnival has a pull down Murphy type set up for one and the couch is made into a bed for the bottom. Enjoy your cruise.

There are beds that come down out of the wall or ceiling... Believe me, there is no way a trundle bed would fit in those rooms... Maybe in a Suite but not in a regular cabin. I have never seen one of those actually down so I have no idea how one would get in it...

@Moiraine+Cathy100 -- Thanks for the info. I've heard the rooms are pretty tight, but I'm happy to know that everyone gets their own bed!

Thank you!

What ship are you on?? Some of the older Royal Caribbean ships have tiny cabins, but the newer ones are a bit more spacious.
