Default help with cruise selection

Okay we are a family of five that go on cruises every year, always carnival. I have been so disappointed with the last one cruise I wanted to try Royal Caribbean but really worried. Kids ages 9-16 where very bored on carnival and royal Caribbean seems like they have more stuff on bored for the kids. The ship we are looking at is the voyager leaving New Orleans November 26th 2011.

Can somebody give me some advice to what is better. I want our family to have fun. Thanks

You really can't go wrong with a Voyager class ship. I read a review recently and they stated the ship is in great shape. There will be lots of activities for your kids, they will have a ball.

I hope Beenie comes by ....

If they don't like Royal Caribbean then they just might be the wrong age for cruising. They have a youth program as good as any - except for possibly Disney.

That age is really tough - especially 12-14. I honestly do not know if RCL allows younger kids into older kids' areas. But if they do that may help.

Disney is probably the most fun ships for kids. From what I hear the parents end up feeling lonely because their kids are so busy all the time.

I have sailed Voyager of the Seas. Good ship. They have the ice rink; u can go ice skating during the day and they have ice capade shows at night. They have the inline roller skating track; and they have the rock climbing walls. They also have the Royal Promenade; Royal has some great programs for kids ages, 5-12; after 12 u get into the teens; they have a teen disco, and the teen club; they also have the arcade which is great.
