Cool Booking While on Board

Just wondering if anyone here has booked a future cruise while on board the Allure? My questions are:

1. I heard that the deposit is reduced, does anyone know what it is?
2. Do you have to give a particular cruise date, or can you leave it open?
3. What do you get in the way of on-board credit?

If anyone could answer, I would greatly appreciate it. Leaving in a few weeks, and can't wait!

To book a future booking while onboard -

you don't have to give a date, you only need to put one name on it with a $100 deposit.

The amount of OBC is dependent on the length of the cruise you book. 7 days will get you $100 under 7 days will get you $50.

Do they 'advertise' this 'special rate' anywhere or do you have to ask about it?

Sun,
It was advertized, but there is only a small window. You need to keep watching, going to the cruiseline's web-sites etc....I was all ready to book, so it was a matter of just waiting 2 days and then booking for the extras...

It's allways good to go to cruise sales and see what they will do for you.
