I am sailing RCL (on the Monarch of the Seas for a 3 dayer) for the 1st time next month and I have a question or two about dining.
Do they only have set dining times or can you do anytime dining? If they have anytime dining how do i request this? Also can you change your dining preference on the ship or is it best to do before hand? We have a 8:30 dining time and that is WAY too late. Prefer to eat around 7:30ish.
Also how dressy is dinner time?
Is there a "formal" night?
Thank you in advance for your help!

You do have a few options if you don't care for the later seating for dinner. You can see the Madre'd when you board, just go to the dinning room and locate him and see if you can switch to the early. You can also eat in the Windjammer for dinner instead of the MD... Hopefully they can switch you to the early. You will most likely have a formal evening the second night out, not a big deal and just some nice clothes will do, suit or jacket for the guys and a nice dress for the gals....Its actually fun and you can get some formal pictures taken if you wish.
