Just Returned - Majesty of the Seas 3 Night

Just returned from a 3 night cruise to the Bahamas on Majesty of the Seas. Had an awesome experience. This is my 4th time sailing on Majesty and was impressed with the various renovations that occured in 2007, they really did a great job adding new dining options and re-decking the pool area. Weather wise, it was perfect with limited spotted showers.

We left at just the right time given Irene coming up from the Caribbean.

CoCo Cay was great - They really did a great job with the island. They added a new "Cabanna Rental" area that has some good food and lounging options.

Looking forward to seeing Monarch of the Seas in two weeks. Hoping Irene will be long gone by then.

did Monarch get the same upgrades as Majesty? I sailed Majesty in 1997; my first cruise.

I don't think so, based on the deck plans she doesn't have johnny rockets and compass deli.

I still liked Majesty; she is big but not too big like Oasis or Allure. I loved Allure of the Seas; but it's nice to have a smaller ship to relax on.
