Below is a new link for cashing in your points. You no longer need to call the 800 to redeem points. I cashed in 50,000 points yesterday, and the gal from Bank of America gave me this weblink and said u do not need to call anyone. Just wanted to pass info along.

Thanks AF, I cashed in all mine a few months and was able to save $300 off my upcomming Allure cruise. What I have not paid attention to was that I had 10 times that many points, they all expired....so keep an eye on them, pretty much like the airline points, they too will go if you don't use them by a certain time...
Donna, I will keep an eye on using all my points before they expire. Have fun on Allure; I loved her. so much to do and see; but u can also find some nice places to just relax. One of the neat things is; there is a duo that roam the ship. they play violin and guitar. they play in central park a lot. anyway, they do a rendition of Led Zepplins "Stairway to Heaven", very nice. U can sit and watch them play. they also will be playing on Royal Promenade and MDR.

Hello! I'm cashing in my points fof the first time for a cruise in Feb. I went to the site, "purchased" my rewards ($150 off my cruise & $50 on board credit), got the confermantion in an e-mail.....now what???
I know I'm suppose to get some kind of code to enter in my reservations when I pay on my cruise, but when & how do I get that number???

This is an easy peasy way to do things. I had ordered certificates for our October cruise and got them in a week or so. I sent them in August 16 and they still aren't applied.
I ordered another certificate online August 30 and it was applied one day later. I received a confirmation from Royal Caribbean the next day telling me that the certificate had been applied.
I called Royal Caribbean this week regarding the others and was told that they have them, but they still aren't applied. I was also told earlier this month that if the ones I mailed weren't on my account by 9/16, they could manually do them if I had the certificate numbers. So, I am still waiting, but the one done online is there.
They might have done that to mine, it seemed like the price I owed was lower but I though it was just my imagination. I'll go double check that. Is there a way to check to see how much On-Board credit you have before you go on a cruise?

You have to call RCI directly and they will tell you how much OBC you currently have applied to your account.

Where do you find when the reward points expire???? I looked on the website and couldn't find anything?? I definately would not want any points to expire... We currently have over 20,000...
I think I heard they expire after three years. Ones that are three years older or more start dropping off, not all of them. We have used ours twice for a free 7 day Caribbean cruise and are almost at our third. We use ours about every two and a half years or so, so have not lost any yet.

I looked on there before I posted and there is nothing on there that tells me the expire date... Hopefully I will make it to 25,000 soon and won't have to worry about it....
You can go to the website I posted and log on. Once there it will show how many points u have to spend.

I just checked my points for my upcoming cruise and I have 22,000 reward points available. I wanted to get the $150 on board credit, but I see that it says "single occupancy" for that option. Can I not use that toward all of my family's excursion?
The next question is this: For 5,000 points I can get $50 in on board credit "double occupancy", can I cash in that option 4 times for the same cruise and get $200 in on board credit? That would seem smarter than the above $150 on board credit, but I'm still not quite sure how all of this "single vs. double occupancy" works.
If your a seasoned pro at how these reward points work, I'd love to hear your advice.
I would do the 4 ($50) credits. My question is same as above. I cashed mine in-received conf email, but nothing from RCCL. Final payment made, Cruise in 45 days! Help!

When I cashed mine in a few months ago, that amount came off my final payment amount...I would call BOA or your travel agent. May-be the time frame was too close between cashing them in and final payment.. Is an OBC an option?
I have used my points for obc I leave in a few weeks and have about $950
