Hello everyone, I'm DIEING to go on another cruise from RCCL after my first one was sooo much fun! However I'm came across a small problem. I can't find anybody that wants to go with me ! As much as I want someone to go with me, I'm not about to opportunity slip away because I have to huff it alone!
So what happens when you books an interior room for 1 person??? I've heard things like the price doubles or you could be roomed with someone else. Does anyone know or have experience????
If it helps heres some info about the trip that I'm planning on: Ship Name: Freedom Of The Seas
Departure: March 4 #7 night trip)
Departure Port: Port Canaveral, Florida
Ports of Call: Florida; Haiti; Jamaica; Grand Cayman; Mexico
Interior room: $699
First answer, no you are not automatically paired into a cabin unless you book specifically with a singles cruise.
Most lines double the rate for a solo, but pay once for taxes. I booked solo on Carnival, paid double. I just added a roommate, and her taxes were added to the total.
Do a fake booking for inquiring purposes to find out the supplement on your chosen cruise to get the dollar amount on that cruise. I just did one for a Celebrity cruise I was interested in. There was a 50% supplement vs 100%.
Issues: The price is DOUBLE. But, if you are lucky (as I was) you may notice the price drop right before the cruise and get a free upgrade (I def used the single supplement for leverage)
RCI does not offer a "pairing" program, but you could get the cruise and hope someone else wants to join you via this forum.
Check other lines for single supplements, you might just get lucky!
Travel and adventure keep me going!
