Question RC Ship Opinion

This is a question to all avid RC cruisers. What is your favorite RC ship and what is it that makes it your favorite from the other RC ships you cruised on.

Looking at Freedom of the sea and wondered if I should consider one of the other ships.

I have only cruised RC one time at it was on Majesty of the Sea and really disliked it, however I have been told by a few that I should try them again but on a newer ship. Iím also considering NCL.

We've sailed Majesty on more than one occassion, however it is their oldest ship and extremely different from the others. We liked it but we knew what we were going to get.

Our favourite is the Radiance class. They are not a lively as the Voyager, Freedom and Oasis class but they are beautiful.

We have also sailed on the Mariner and a few others. They are certainly more "active" that anything you'll get on the Majesty as they have a lot of "fun" stuff.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for, but you won't go wrong with the Freedom.

We don't sail much with RCL anymore as they are very family and young people oriented now. That's OK - nothing wrong with that - and it also doesn't mean that we won't sail them again.

I sailed the Majesty twice, and loved it each time. No one does an atrium like RCI. This was in it's heyday, and I won't sail older ships anymore, but she sure is pretty.

We sailed the Freedom out of Boston. Thoughts of it being too big, went right out the window! We had a corner aft cabin, big enough for a cocktail party, that's how big it was! The Pronemade is sooo fun, the parade is great, and, the"outside" cafes are wonderful places to people watch. The ice rink was a new thing them and I thought, ????....but, we loved it. The flow rider is for the younger/agile set.... we did watch

Loved the ship.

I think you'd be very pleased with Freedom of the Seas and even more so on either Oasis or Allure of the Seas...They are nothing like the older Majesty, that was my first Royal Caribbean cruise when she was brand new. They are now in the process of upgrading their fleet with the onboard computers that you find all over Oasis and Allure, great feature....tells you where you are and how to get to where you want. Also, how full every dinning venue is at that time, menu's of all the different restaurants and dinning rooms....Much more info at your finger tips, those will be on most of the ships very soon, along with the big screens outside....

I agree with Donna. The freedom class are wonderful ships and the Oasis and the Allure are fantastic.
I am sure that you will enjoy one of those ships.

I looked at a lot of cruises last night and I have to say RC Allure seems to be the front runner due to it being so new and most importantly the itinerary. Iím interested in the balcony cabin category D2 Ė D8 on the 7th or 8th deck. Not too sure if itís worth the extra money to go with D1 mid ship.

I sailed Allure in Jan. we had Boardwalk balcony. Loved it You wont be in room too much so don't spend a lot of money on cabin. allure has Five neighborhoods and it is almost twice as wide as Majesty of the Seas and over two hundred feet longer. Great ship.

Iím interested in hearing you views between Allure & Freedom. I know there completely two different ships but I want your opinion on which one you like better.

Aero,
Hands down, Allure over Freedom, for all the extra neighborhoods you get with Allure....

Keep in mind an outside balcony cabin on deck 8 gets you on the same deck as Central Park. If you want a cup of coffee in the AM, just go to the cafe there and bring back a cup or two instead of going all the way up to the Windjammer Marketplace....Its also a nice place to cut through when going to other side of ship...

The Allure is the kind of vessel that makes you say, ( Wow, what a ship! )

I would say Allure have more options than Freedom, only because of the different layouts of the two ships Allure has the edge. However; Freedom is cheaper and can be just as fun
